You should make a tutorial 8D
Now the knuckles. None of the knuckles in the human hand are the same distance from the wrist. This is a list of knuckles ordered based on their individual distance (shortest to longest) from the wrist. Thumb, pinky, ring, index, and middle finger. The knuckle of your thumb has the right distance, yet the knuckles of the fingers seem to all be the same distance from the wrist. Another important note is that knuckles can actually move up and down. Go ahead, grab the metacarpal of your pinky and wiggle it up and down. I was fucking amassed when I first tried this! You can also wiggle the rest of your metacarpals, but the metacarpals of the thumb, pinky, and ring finger have the greatest articulation.
All this harkens back to the classical art theory that the human body is not made of boring, stiff, geometric shapes. Rather it is made of dynamic and unique bones and muscles working together to create the masterpiece of beauty called the human form.
Effortless.
Brava.
